About GSPOT

GSPOT is a teammate finder for gamers: a profile, filters by game, rank and city, a mutual like and a chat.

What GSPOT is and who it is for

GSPOT helps people who play games find others to play with. It is for those tired of random teammates in solo queue, those who want a stable duo or stack of their own level, and those who would rather play with people from their own city — online or in a gaming club.

How it works

  1. Profile. Set a nickname, age, city, a few words about yourself and your games with ranks.
  2. Filters. Narrow the feed by game, rank, age and city.
  3. Mutual like. Swipe profiles; when two people like each other, it is a match.
  4. Chat. A match opens a chat inside the service — agree on a game and get in.

GSPOT works in the browser (the web app at play.gspot.team) and in Telegram through the @GspotTeam_Bot bot. One account works in both places. Searching, likes, matches and chat are free (a free account has daily like limits); an optional Premium subscription adds extras.

Safety and moderation

Profiles and avatars go through automatic moderation, which looks for toxic text and inappropriate images, and complaints are reviewed by moderators. There is a "safe search" option, and you can report a profile or a chat message in the app. Violators can be restricted up to a ban. See the privacy policy and the terms of service for the details.
